AgQuip will go ahead on November 16, 17, and 18, with organisers looking forward to bringing an event "like never before".
ACM Rural Events group manager Kate Nugent said in the face of current COVID uncertainty, it was important for them to consult with exhibitors and key stakeholders before making the final call.
"We have been encouraged to make a call on new AgQuip dates this calendar year, as we know without the exhibitors we have no show," she said.
"We all understand no timing will be ideal for us at the end of this year, however, every effort and emphasis will be placed on marketing AgQuip 2021 to a broader regional audience.
"While AgQuip will be in the midst of harvest, we are hopeful the timing maximises our opportunity to offer all a super-charged attendance feeling confident and safe - and incentivising purchases on the field in a conducive rural environment over the days of this special event."
ACM Rural Events will continue to monitor the federal and state government advice on mass gatherings and continue discussions with NSW Public Health and the NSW Police to plan its COVID-safe registered outdoor business event in November.
ACM Rural Events made the difficult decision to postpone the August event in late July, stating it was crucial to give the exhibitors, service suppliers, and contractors enough time to rearrange plans.
AgQuip plays a vital role in Australian agriculture, showcasing and demonstrating a vast range of new products and services, highlighting new technology and innovation and providing information to professionals on the land.
It is the most anticipated agribusiness event of the year and has been the national leader in field days for the past 49 years.
AgQuip is well known in the agricultural industry for its dedication to Australian farming.
The agri-event strives to secure quality exhibitors and targets farmers through significant and effective marketing strategies and is committed to both the rural community and the primary industry.
