The $16,000 sale-topping Angus bull, Vielun Marlon Brando Q028, sold to Garry and Brett Lilley, Running Stream with Andy Carter, McDonald Lawson Carter purchasing on their behalf.
He was in the top one per cent of the breed for eye muscle area at +13.4 with good milk, fat and a good spread from moderate birth to 600-day weight.
"They were looking for an easy soft doing bull, wanting a maternal bull to put back into their heard," Mr Carter said.
"This bull had a fair bit of thickness and punch that will be put back into their calves."
The $14,000 top-priced Poll Hereford bull, VP Endure Q039, was sold to Matt and Emma Cheetham, Gulgong. They have been using the stud's genetics for a number of years in their commercial operation breeding black baldies.
"He is a structurally correct sire. We have watched him grow over the last six months and liked him a lot," Mr Cheetham said.
"We have previously purchased three bulls from VPC and are trying to put a bit more thickness into our herd and this bull will do that."
