For their 23rd Felix rams annual Lambplan ram sale, Rodney and Liz Watt, Felix, Greenthorpe, achieved a total clearance of the 197 Poll Dorset and White Suffolk rams offered.
The top price at $10,600 was paid for a White Suffolk ram, Lot 160.
The August-drop sire, born a twin was sired by 170761 in turn a son of 160614, an MLA Reference Flock sire.
The young rams figures included 0.18 Birthweight, 18.5 post weaning weight, 3.1 post weaning eye muscle and 172.7 lamb eating quality (LEQ).
The ram was purchased through AuctionsPlus.
Another excellent sale was the $8400 paid for another White Suffolk son of 170761 when again bought through AuctionsPlus.
The June-drop young sire had the figures of 18 post weaning, 2.8 post weaning eye muscle area and 167.7 LEQ.
The top priced Poll Dorset ram at $8600 was paid for the July drop son of 190968 in turn sired by Felix 160494.
His figures included .31 birthweight, 19.6.1 post weaning birthweight, 4.2 post weaning eye muscle depth and 162.9 LEQ.
The sale was conducted by Allan Gray and Co, Cowra, and supported by AuctionsPlus.
