The Hardie family of the Tallimba-based Mount Willandry Merino stud welcomed new and repeat buyers to their inaugural ram sale held on-property using the Helmsman system on Friday.
In all, 23 rams sold of the 30 catalogued resulting in a 77 per cent clearance, with a top price of $2000 achieved and a sale average of $1270.
The Hardie family also sold a further 19 grade rams after the sale.

Mount Willandry stud principal Rod Hardie said they were very happy with the results.
"We appreciate the support we have from our clients with our breeding program. We love doing what we do breeding Merinos," he said.
It was Grant Coggan, West Wyalong who walked away the successful purchaser of Mount Willandry 068 for $2000.

Weighing 92 kilograms and measuring a 22-micron fleece with a coefficient of variation (CV) of 16.1pc and a comfort factor (CF) of 98.3pc, he was sired by a One Oak Poll sire.
The sale was settled by Quade Moncrieff Livestock and Property, West Wyalong.
