Nitrogen a key factor for upcoming cotton plant

IPF technical agronomist Bede O'Mara is urging cotton producers to do soil tests for nutrient levels.

WITH some cotton crops yet to be harvested, farmers could be forgiven for not having thought too deeply about the 2022-23 plant.

Gregor Heard is ACM's national grains industry reporter, based in Horsham, Victoria. He has a wealth of knowledge surrounding the cropping sector through his 15 years in the role.
