THE 63rd Alice Springs Show kicked off today, welcoming thousands of Territorian and interstate showgoers through its gates on the first day.
Organisers anticipated quite a buzz throughout town when showtime arrived and it was certainly buzzing!
Alice Springs came alive as patrons hit the show rides, side-show ally and watched cattle judging.
The Territory's annual cattle market was also back on the calendar for 2022, after yarding about 3400 cattle on Thursday.
The show's events continue tomorrow, with about 11 bulls up for auction at the Elders Alice Springs sale, which has reached its 50th year.
