Bush Park Ruby, the grand champion female, has been sashed supreme Limousin exhibit at the Canberra Show.
Coming up against about 140 head of Limousins in what was a feature show for the breed, the top cow was exhibited by Patrick Halloran, Bush Park Limousins, Kyneton, Victoria.
The three-year-old cow had a seven-month-old heifer calf at foot, and judge Andrew Green, Red Hill Herefords, Euroa, Vic, said the cow had substance and style.
The cow had previously been supreme Limousin exhibit at the 2014 Royal Melbourne Show and reserve interbreed champion cow at the same event.
Its sire, Bush Park Thunder Express, was also a supreme Limousin exhibit at Melbourne Show.
Bush Park Ruby was sashed supreme over grand champion bull Birubi Knightime K1, exhibited by Birrubi Limousins, Wagga Wagga.
