NeMonaVille stud principal Mona Kirkman said the top two bulls were sought after for their growth and carcase qualities.
Doability is also a focus for the stud.
"Our clients want bulls with good fertility and fleshability on pasture," Mrs Kirkman said.
"They want easy doing cattle that are able to finish on grass."
The sale was conducted by Landmark Armidale with Joel Fleming, Landmark studstock, Tamworth, auctioneering.
