Dunoon Angus topped at $16,000 and averaged an impressive $6741 on August 28, with 139 of 142 bulls offered by the Harbison family of Holbrook sold.
Geelong buyer Millwood Farm Services put together a stellar draft buying the top bull - Dunoon James J674 - along with 18 other bulls to average $8922.
The bidding was spirited throughout with 17 bulls achieving over $10,000.
Those sired by Tuwharetoa Regent D145 attracted the most attention along with the progeny of Dunoon Decimal D342.
Millwood Farm Services also secured the second top priced bull Dunoon Jab J774 for $15,000.
Volume buyers were on fire throughout the sale; Greenwald Pastoral Company took home 12 bulls to a top of $8000 and averaged $5417 while the Durnan family, Widgiewa Station, Morundah, secured eight bulls to a top of $8500 and averaged $5375.
Dunoon principal Jock Harbison was humbled that a client ticked off their 200th bull purchased from Dunoon at their 29th sale last week.
"Repeat clientele is something we pride ourselves on; the buyer who bought the very first bull through the ring 29 years ago is back here today," Mr Harbison said.
"We're very proud of the bulls and they're going in to wonderful herds."
