POLICE are investigating the theft of three firearms and malicious damage of more than 70 tyres on a property at Coolatai in the state's north.
Between 5pm on Sunday and 8am Monday, three firearms - a 30/30 Marlin rifle, a single-barrel shotgun and a .22 Magnum rifle - were stolen from various buildings on the property.
The owner also reported the malicious damage of 72 rural machinery tyres, which police believe were punctured with a power drill, causing about $50,000 in damage.
