I've grown up on the Liverpool plains my whole life with my family still having farming land there today.
I'm so disappointed with the government that they will allow such a thing on this rare soil.
That's the best farming country around nothing can replace it. The risk factor of having a coal mine so close to home is too much to bare.
With my families home situated right next door to where the mine will be situated, it puts us in a horrible situation for our health with my parents being of elderly age and myself just starting a family.
With our world population booming as it is we need all the agricultural resources we can get. For our government to give the Chinese permission to mine this for 30 years is sickening, as it can be farmed for thousands of generations to come.
