The 47th annual Weebollabolla Shorthorn sale had a great range of new and old buyers who sent the top priced bull to $12,000.
The sale at the Weebollabolla Station yards in Moree averaged at $4442, with 70 out of the 84 bulls selling.
The top priced bull, Weebolla H437, was purchased by Tom and David Stuckey, “Carella”, Condobolin.
The Stuckey’s have been purchasing bulls from Weebolla for about 40 years for their functionality and fertility.
Mr Stuckey said they purchased H437 for its softness and thought it would produce good females.
Jen Jeffreys from Weebolla Shorthorn said she was happy with the quality of bulls and the result the sale produced.
