THE first two bulls sold at $9000, topped the 29th annual Mundoo Angus sale on Friday.
The on-property sale at Glencoe averaged $4535, with 28 out of the 37 bulls offered selling.
Purchaser of $9000 Mundoo Hot Shot H167 and Mundoo Howzat H123 was Alastair McLaren, McLaren Angus, Hawkesbury.
Mr McLaren said he bought the bulls to ncrease the prime cuts in his cattle which sell through the farmers’ markets in Sydney.
The volume buyer of the sale was Colin Crosby, Glencoe station, Glencoe, who bought four bulls to top at $6000 and average of $4500.
