NSW, Victoria and South Australia shared the honours at the second Elite Suffolk Show in Bendigo on Sunday.
Oberon stud Baringa exhibited the champion ram, a July 2013-drop weighing 112.5kg with a eye muscle scan of 44 millimetres.
Judge Anthony Hurst, Seriston White Suffolks, Lucindale, SA, said the ram was a true Suffolk type with volume and adequate muscling in the hind quarter.
Aylesbury Farms, Handorf, SA, won reserve champion, with a ram described by Mr Hurst as a magnificent meat yielding ram.
Deppeler Suffolks, Derrinallum, Victoria, won champion Suffolk ewe with a July 2013-drop ewe sired by Deppeler Gemini.
Reserve champion ewe was awarded to an August 2013-drop exhibit from Closeup Poll Dorset and Suffolk Stud, Finley.
