PETALI Poll Merino rams sold to a top of $4600 and averaged $1547 at the stud's 20th annual on-property sale at "Petali", Walcha, on Thursday.
Forty-five of the 60 rams offered were sold for a clearance of 75 per cent.
"Petali" neighbour Kim Barnet, Miramoona Merinos, Walcha, was the top bidder, taking home the top-priced ram for $4600.
The stud also sold 37 rams in its annual White Suffolk sale, topping at $1400 three times.
All 37 rams sold for a full clearance, averaging $1108.
Anne Hutchinson, Kentucky Station, Kentucky, purchased two of the top-priced rams and one was bought by Guy and Suz Lord, "Branga Plains", Walcha.
