NEW Holland's new TT4 economy utility tractor range is targeted at the ever-expanding economy tractor market.
The range comes in three models: the TT4.55, TT4.65 and TT4.75, producing engine powers from 41.25 kilowatt to 56.75kW.
Since its introduction, New Holland has delivered more than 2300 units, making it one of the most popular products launched in the Australian market to date.
The new line up is suited to a wide range of agricultural tasks, including front loader activities, hauling and power take off (PTO) work.
The TT4 models are powered by FPT Industrial's S8000 turbocharged mechanical fuel injection engines.
The 2.9-litre engines have two valves per cylinder and offer maximum torque of up to 300 newton metres. They use Tier 3 technology to meet engine emission standards.
Running the "eco" PTO at 540 revs per minute, but at a lower engine working speed than a standard PTO-rated speed, helps reduce fuel consumption.
A new 12 by 12 transmission is offered standard throughout the range and is enhanced with the addition of a dash-mounted synchronised shuttle control.
This dash-mounted lever can be operated without removing the hand from the steering wheel, enhancing safety and improving loader productivity.
An optional 20 by 20 creeper transmission is available for all models, with speeds as low as 0.27 kilometres an hour to suit specialist activities and precision applications.
The capacity of the dedicated implement pump is 52 litres a minute, ensuring the required hydraulic performance when carrying out demanding applications, including front loader and hay and forage work.
New Holland AP Plus loaders have been developed for the TT4 tractor range.
They have mechanical level lift systems which protect against "rollback" and are designed to meet the stringent standards of the Tractor and Machinery Association of Australia Code of Practice for Supply and Manufacture of Front End Loaders.
