WHERE do you go to take a bit of time out in the bush?
Is it doing a little cooking, throwing in a line, or just taking in a sunset?
Whatever it is, The Land wants to see a photo of you in your favourite downtime spot.
Entries have been flocking in from all corners of the state for The Land Glove Box Guide to Mental Health photography competition.
The competition will be fierce with entries capturing images of people in rural and regional areas showing how they enjoy a little breather in the bush.
So far The Land readers have submitted photos of people taking a horse ride, enjoying the stars and taking in a beautiful view to suit this year’s competition theme, Service Your Mind.
The Glove Box Guide to Mental Health is a tool aimed at helping those living on farms, and in rural and regional areas who might be suffering depression or even doing it a little tough.
The guide includes personal and inspiring stories from rural and regional people and plenty of useful advice to help people keep their minds healthy.
The winning photograph will appear in the guide, which will be published on October 6.
The winner will also receive a $500 JB Hi-Fi voucher, kindly sponsored by the Rural Advisory Mental Health Program (RAMHP).
The Land merchandise will also be up for grabs.
Entries close on August 5, and The Land readers will have the chance to vote for their favourite photo.
Visitors to Ag-Quip field days, which run from August 16-18, will also have the chance to vote.
Reader voters and those voting at Ag-Quip field days will go in the running to win an Akubra hat and a merchandise pack.
Winners will be announced in The Land on September 1.
