A son of stable companion and champion Australian sire Redoute’s Choice, Scissor Kick will shuttle to leading European breeding property Haras d’Etreham in France.
International interest in the Group winner was sparked by the global success of Danehill’s champion sire sons Redoute’s Choice, and his leading European-based sire Dansili, who stands at Banstead Manor near Newmarket, England.
Dansili’s celebrated dam Hasili is a half-sister to Scissor Kick’s grand-dam Skiable, a Ninisky four times French winner.
A daughter of Nijinsky grandson Kahyasi, Hasili has produced six stakes winners, five of them Group 1 victors.
These include Dansili, and well-known northerners Champs Elysees, Banks Hill and Cacique.
A flashy bay, Scissor Kick won four races in Sydney – three of them stakes, including the ATC Eskimo Stakes-G3 and Up And Coming Stakes-G3.
He was also second in the Group 1 ATC Golden Rose.
