Monto market values slide 10-15c/kg

More extreme heat across the North Burnett saw 1210 head yarded at Monto’s Fat and Store sale held on Wednesday, February 15.  Cattle producers have decided to reduce numbers in the lead up to winter with little or no rain over much of the supply area.  The market slid approximately 10 to 15c/kg but the oversupply of cattle has forced the price drop.
