South Australian bred Bayview Usher stole the show from 116 other bulls to be awarded grand champion of the 58th Dectomax Dubbo Shorthorn National Show and Sale's show section yesterday.
Sired by NSW bred Ronelle Park Hurricane H242 (P), Usher had earlier taken out the Division 3 championship and fronted against three other divisional champions to secure top honours.
He was bred and shown by Kevin and Chris Thompson, Bayview stud, Yorketown, South Australia.
Just days off his second birthday, Usher weighed 1010 kilograms and has a eye muscle area of 136 square centimetres and scrotal circumference of 40cm.
