THE country’s best roboticists headed over the ranges and out to Nevertire on Friday to give western farmers a peek at their latest farming robot.
The crew from the University of Sydney’s Centre for Field Robotics let loose their latest creation, the SwagBot.
The SwagBot can tow loads up to 150 kilograms. It can also:
- Spray weeds
- Monitor stock
- Monitor crops
- Perform autonomous functions like tow a trailer
- Survey for pests
