The Angus Youth National Roundup is the premier event for young beef cattle enthusiasts in Australia.
The Angus Youth National Roundup program includes a series of educational sessions and competitions, along with many fun activities held over four days in January each year.
The event is open to experienced and novice competitors aged between eight and 25 years.
The Angus Youth National Roundup is unique in that it provides animals to those participants who cannot bring their own.
This ensures that as many people as possible have the opportunity to get involved with the event and the great learning environment in promotes.
A huge range of prizes and scholarships are also awarded at the Angus Youth National Roundup each year.
This year, the event was held at Mount Gambier, SA.
Previously, the event has been held in Armidale, NSW, Toowoomba, Queensland, and Dubbo, NSW.
In 2015, the Roundup was held in Wodonga, Vic, where it returns to the showgrounds from January 11 to 14, 2018.
