INTERSTATE buyers were in strong support of the Ayr Park 7th on-property sale at Woodstock September 7.
Fifteen bulls sold of 21 offered for a 71 per cent clearance and $4483 average.
Craig and Jacinta Grant, Lindsay Murray Greys, Casterton, Vic, purchased the top priced bull for $8000.
The sale topper was Ayr Park Mystic M31, a 16-month old bull by Ayr Park Hugh H77 from Ayr Park Matina F80.
He weighed 588 kilograms, measured 38.5 centimeters in the scrotal circumference, seven millimeters and 5mm in the rump and rib fats, had an eye muscle area (EMA) of 96 centimeters squared and intramuscular fat (IMF) of 5.6pc.
The second top price bull, Ayr Park Marco M5, sold for $5500 to repeat client GF. Osbourne, Caloola.
By Ayr Park Jasper J42 and from Monterey Majestic Miss F61, the 17-month old bull weighed 590kg, measured 40cm in the scrotum, 7mm and 5mm in the rump and rib, had an EMA of 97cm2 and IMF of 5.2pc.
Western Australian Murray Grey studs Monterey and Nangara purchased Ayr Park Lazarus L74 for $4750.
The top price female, Ayr Park Wallflower M4, sold to new buyer Burnett Pastoral, Wagga Wagga, for $3750.
Multiple buyers were Wendy McDonald, Hideaway Park Murray Greys, Grafton; Columbo Pastoral, Braidwood; Dennis Vickery, Victoria; and the Willis family, Tumbarumba.
Bowyer and Livermore, Bathurst, and Atkins Marketing Livestock and Property conducted the sale.
