MULLUMBIMBY Show will celebrate its 110th event on November 11 and 12, with a huge two days of country fun and entertainment for the whole family.
Local business owner Mark Ward has stepped into the role of president over a few years as vice president.
The show has been given a lift with new classes and more prize money in the horse program. The showjumping program has been streamlined and will run on Saturday only allowing new and exciting events on Sunday in the main ring.
On Sunday the pet show will allow everyone to bring their favourite pet to the show prior to "The Farm" of Byron Bay holding events for the community under the figs in the cattle arena.
The Uncle Toms Pies famous pie eating championships are back on the Saturday, with registration from 2.15pm and finals at 3.45pm, and the mechanical bull riding competition begins at 5pm. The entertainment stage is jam packed with Push, local talent Thor Phillips and Dan Hannaford sharing the stage with up and coming contestants in the talent quest.
A highlight of the show will be the fireworks on Saturday night, and for the families, there's a supersozed chess set and a free petting zoo.
Athol Essery and his team of skilled working dogs will hold demonstrations on Sunday and the Showtime FMX motocross riders will be back again for two shows on Sunday prior to the crowd favourite demolition derby to close the huge two-day event.
