COLLIERS International has named Rawdon Briggs as the head of its rural and agribusiness, transaction services division for Australia.

Mr Briggs is currently the national director of transaction services in Colliers International, leading the Queensland rural and agribusiness team.

The promotion will see the expansion of Mr Briggs’ leadership role to deliver the national strategy after seven years within the Queensland business in roles with Brisbane and Toowoomba teams.

In response to the strong performance of the agribusiness sector across all major markets in the last two years, the Colliers rural and agribusiness team has almost doubled in size and delivered strong results for many of their major clients over this period.

Of note, Mr Briggs has completed more than $260 million in agribusiness transactions in the last 12 months in northern Australia.

He has as particular focus on cotton, grain and cattle properties. His 25 year career includes roles in Canada, Norway and Chinchilla.

The story Rawdon Briggs heads Colliers first appeared on Queensland Country Life.
