The Monaro region has had almost 100mm in the past few months, with some areas looking like the green hills of Ireland. The Bega Valley has also turned green after soaking rains in the last few months, helping with silage that will get dairyfarmers well through to the next season.
Dams including Brogo dam are full and allocations have returned for irrigation on the Bega river systems.

Some of the rain has been patchy with storms dropping large amounts of rain in small areas.
Some good rainfall in the past day includes Oberon with 36mm, Jerangle with 29mm, Cooma with 10mm, Condobolin with 17mm, Bathurst with 17mm and Cootamundra with 14mm.
It follows good rainfall in the north of the state and on the North Coast earlier in November.
