Twelve of the 26 bulls offered by three studs - Gowan Ross Devons, Mullaley, Gundooee Poll Devons, Binnaway, and Vix Devons, Mullaley - sold for a clearance of 46 per cent and average of $3625.
Gundooee David topped the sale, going to David and Ishbell Collins, "Glen Sanda", Denman.
The 30-month-old bull weighed 848kg, had estimated breeding values (EBVs) of +15 for 200-day weight, +19 for 400-day weight and +29 for 600-day weight and a scrotal circumference of 39 centimetres.
The second top price was $4250 for Vix Haggins and three bulls - Gundooee Yetti, Vix H7 and Vix Joc - sold for $4000.
The sale's volume buyer was John Carpenter who purchased three bulls for an average $3916.
