Industry leaders covered a range of topics from the direction beef should take to improve returns, to sound bull and female selection.
Visitors interested in purchasing bulls and females also had an opportunity to inspect some of the Yulgilbar cattle before the stud's on-property sale on Friday, September 5.

Breeding for polled cattle was also a hands-on feature of the event, with North Coast cattle consultant Bill Hoffman sharing advice on behalf of Meat and Livestock Australia on how to breed polled cattle from a horned base.
