Thirty-eight out of the 51 bulls on offer sold for an average of $3243.
The top-priced bull was purchased by Stephen Gill from Alexander Downs, Scone, who said the bull had plenty of yield and depth.
MacCallum Inglis agent Stuart Sheldrake said the day was extremely successful considering the way the climate has been.
“It was a good sale considering the lack of female cattle around and the way the market cattle has been,” he said.
Vendors Jim and Linda MacCallum also donated a bull for the Steve Waugh Foundation which helps children and families living with rare diseases.
The bull was sold to an anonymous bidder for $12,000.
