Yearling steers topped at $610 a head, while heifers sold to $530 in a yarding of 1100 head of predominantly steers.
Selling agent auctioneer, Angus Stuart of Milling Stuart Pty Ltd, Dunedoo, said the cattle were very "buyable".
"Anyone wanting to buy cattle today would have bought well," he said.
Buyers came from Boggabri, Jerilderie, Merriwa, Molong and local.
