Reknowned as one of the biggest programs in the southern hemisphere, the six-hour trip to the fixture was a long one for Bruce Coulthard and family, Hillgrove east of Armidale, but well worth it when Mr Coulthard, pictured, secured the win on Fig in the restricted open.
Mr Coulthard then backed it up with a win in the maiden on board Senora the next day.
It was then up to son, Toby, to bring home the cream of the crop which he did in the juvenille winning it ahead of Jack Kable, Lithgow.
Gilgandra competitor, David Wilson, won the novice campdraft on Miessence and Brent Flanagan took out the open.
Christine Hall, Goondiwindi, rode Bits N Pieces to secure the ladies campdraft win ahead of Molly Le Brocq, Armidale, on her Romeo's Repeat mare Katie.
Local competitor Gareth Dewson won the encouragement award after a three-way run off and Thomas Hutton, Maitland, rode La Chia to win the junior campdraft.
The Central West grounds hosted about 1300 runs across the weekend and was complemented by a three day rodeo program.
