The 2980-head yarding was comprised of 1655 steers and 1325 heifers, all of which were presented as good quality cold country calves.
Landmark sale agent Paul Costigan, Braidwood, said the sale performed well, with vendors presenting some large pens of calves.
"Calves showcased the quality in the breeding that has been put in to the district," Mr Costigan said.
"The bigger steers sold extremely well to about $700 and the better heifers also sold well but the smaller heifers struggled," he said.
Buyers travelled in from Bega, Moruya, Goulburn, Crookwell, Bungendore, Molong, Coota- mundra, Wagga Wagga, Adelong, Gundagai, Harden and Yass.
"Commission buyers were purchasing cattle for clients as far away as Lucindale, Mount Gambier and Naracoorte, with a good contingent of local Braidwood buyers in attendance," Mr Costigan said.
