AFTER yesterday's March shorn Merino Pair win, Michael and Jane Corkhill's Grassy Creek stud, Reids Flat took out both March shorn Poll Merino champion ram and ewe awards at the Sydney Royal Show.

Both were AI sired by Western Australian sire Coromandel 2 and both were fine wool section champions after winning their four-tooth classes.
Eighteen Poll Merino studs exhibited 72 head in both August and March shorn classes.
Armidale's Alfoxton Poll Merino stud and Bungarby district's Greenland stud also featured in broad ribbon distribution in the March shorn section, while Pemcaw Polls, Dunedoo, Adina Polls, Cooma, and Coddington Polls, Wellington, took out broad ribbons in August classes.
