BUSH beauty Stephanie Field looks set to make the ultimate farm to fashion transition this week when she makes her international modelling debut on the runway of Paris Fashion Week.

It's been a whirlwind fortnight for Stephanie, the eldest daughter of woolgrowers Michael and Angela Field, T.A. Field Estates, Jugiong.
Just last month, she walked her first major fashion parade for the annual David Jones Autumn/Winter 2014 collection show in Sydney.
Stephanie, who only just finished her Higher School Certificate last year at Abbotsleigh School for Girls, Sydney, was in fact a finalist in the Girlfriend national modelling competition at only 16 but chose to complete her studies ahead of a career on the catwalk.
Mr Field said he and wife Angela (who is overseas with Stephanie) were very proud of Stephanie, but quite shocked at the pace it had come about.
Stephanie has been attending castings in Paris with the hope of being booked for a runway show.
With wool featuring is most collections at Milan Fashion Week last week ranging from high end shows such as Prada through to up-and-coming collections from designers who competed in International Wool Prize, there is every chance Field may get to model some of her family’s home grown fibre on the runway in Paris.
Mr Field said they would delighted if their daughter could model Australian wool to follow on a family tradition.
"We [woolgrowers] grow the best bloody stuff [wool] in the world so to have our daughter continue that tradition by modelling it would be absolutely brilliant," he said.
While the paddocks of Jugiong and Paris may be worlds apart, Mr Field said Stephanie helps out at mustering and lambing marking on occasion, but admitted agriculture was not her forte.
