The 19-month-old bull weighing 960 kilograms, Rosskin Admiral H19, had been selected as the ultimate interbreed champion over the interbreed female: St Pauls Red Pear G427, exhibited by Circle 8 Black Simmentals, Marulan.
Rosskin Admiral H19 was exhibited by Martin, Liz and Adam Walters, Rosskin Angus and Charolias, Dalgety, who plan to take him on to Sydney.
The judges had selected the Angus, Fleckvieh, Charolais, Murray Grey and Speckle Park bulls as their five finalists in the interbreed bull section of the competition, while in the female section the Simmental, Poll Hereford, Angus, Charolais and Murray Grey were in the judges' top five selection.
The interbred judging capped off four days of competition in the cattle rings at Canberra Royal.
