In the beef cattle, supreme beef exhibit went to Spring Creeks Ice Fairy, handled by owner Mark Goodfellow, Spring Creek Limousins, Kiama.
In the dairy competition interbreed champion was awarded to Yattarna Heros' Marion, handled by owner Peter Cullen, Wintercrest Holsteins, Berry.
Show society president David Young said Friday's show day had more of a rural focus to it.
"We're really excited about the show," Mr Young said.
"Friday is mainly cattle and show jumping, focusing more on the ring events."
Expecting to have a turn over of 15,000 people at the show across the course of the two days, Mr Young said the show would get incredibly busy.
"We have lots of entertainment and a good weather forecast," Mr Young said.
"Saturday is the busiest. We have 2000 exhibits in the pavilion and lots of entertainment.
"Thankfully we are blessed with our facilities and our location."
Mr Young said his favourite part of the show was Saturday night when the community were out enjoying themselves.
"It's good to see people you haven't seen in a while, it has a good feel to it - the show just has a good vibe."
Continuing the show tradition, Kiama had two entrants in its showgirl competition with Mr Young saying young women should see the event as an opportunity rather than merely a beauty pageant.
"We have two showgirl entrants. It's not a beauty pageant, it's so much more - it's an amazing experience," he said.
Showgirl competitors, Aleicha Brooke-Smith, Jamberoo, and Melissa Tierney, Kiama Heights, battled it out with Miss Tierney crowned the winner.
"I wasn't expecting to win," Miss Tierney said.
"It's an experience I'll never forget.
"It's a great thing to be involved with the community."
Giving up her time to give back to the community through volunteer work, Miss Tierney said she helped charities and organised fundraisers for the disabled.
"I organise fundraisers and work for a disability trust, I helped raise over $48,000 since 2010," she said.
Keeping up the entertainment factor at the show, Mr Young said the main featured events for this year included the Rampt Mini FMX show, woodchopping, rodeo and a fire-focused circus group called Circaholics Anonymous.
