The showgirl competition hadn't been held for 15 years and a good number of entrants took part in its return to the program, with Emma Hassan named Pambula Showgirl.
Ms Hassan has just completed a gap year after finishing Year 12 at Lumen Christi Catholic School at Pambula and will begin an international relations degree this year.
"I love living here and am looking forward to the next stage of judging at Crookwell," Ms Hassan said.
"I enjoy meeting new people and can't wait to tell them about the wonderful community I grew up in.
"I also love a challenge, so getting involved seemed to be the right thing to do just now."
The returned poultry schedule featured a small, but interested, line-up of breeders.
Pambula Show Society president Russell Fitzpatrick said he hoped it would continue to build in future years, with more poultry breeders encouraged to participate.
"We're the first show on the local calendar so it's easy to slip under the radar," Mr Fitzpatrick said.
"Once it's known we have chooks back on the agenda though, we're hoping that some of the area's bigger fanciers will come on board."
Overall, he was pleased with the turnout of people.
"The weather couldn't have been better," he said.
"People have really got on board - locals and tourists are still here for the holidays.
"It's great to see the work the committee has put in is being rewarded and that visitors are enjoying the range of events on offer."
The annual oyster shucking race and the judging of the champion oyster were also popular.
Well ahead of his oyster opening opposition, Elvis Scolaro, Werri- bee, Victoria, took home five dozen oysters, an oyster knife and a huge ice box as his prize, while the Millard family from Pambula Southern Cross Oysters exhibited the champion oyster.
