IT'S early days for the Manns' blueberry crop and therefore pests have not been a major issue in their greenhouse.

They use an integrated pest managment system.
"We do have a couple of willie wagtails and superb fairywrens in the greenhouse," Nicky Mann said.
"They are great for the occasional leafroller, caterpillar or grubs we see.
"We haven't had to spray anything yet."
The Manns also have a few rows of raspberries they brought to the greenhouse last October to trial.
