Mr Mendl will take on the role of manager of the Orange branch.
He has returned to Rabobank after a three-year stint in London and, more recently, agri and commercial finance roles in Sydney and Orange.
Rabobank’s regional manager for central NSW Peter Anderson welcomed Mr Mendl to the role.
“It is great to have Toby back on board, with his corporate banking experience across a range of commercial sectors,” Mr Anderson said.
“And he can overlay this with his good understanding of the local area, having lived and worked in Orange for the past four years.”
The Orange branch covers an area extending from west of the Blue Mountains, up to Mudgee, west to Canowindra and Cowra, and down to the southern border of the Oberon Shire Council.
Mr Mendl said farmers in the district were relying on rain this month to top-up the sub-soil moisture profile and bulk-up feed ahead of winter.
