Meat and Livestock Australia’s Donor Company (MDC), Teys Australia and Australian Meat Processor Corporation and Woolworths are working in conjunction to deliver the goods.
MDC chief executive Christine Pitt said with about 124 million hot chickens sold annually, there was great potential to capture a share of a large protein market.
The roasts and corned beef weigh 750 grams and retail at $13. The product was first trialled in Qld and the poster pictured above was shot at Orange at the weekend.
