Buyer interest is expected to be lively for the 352,590 hectare property which has been listed for sale through CBRE and Western Livestock.
Past owners of Vergemont have included the Northern Australian Pastoral Company and beef industry heavy weight John Logan.
CBRE selling agent Geoff Warriner said Vergemont is rated to hold up to 10,000 head of cattle. He said during the past four years, and the worst drought the region has seen in many years, Vergemont has consistently run over 4,500 head.
Land types are predominantly Gidgea scrub and soft Mulga to Channel flats associated with Vergemont Creek.
Vergemont is being sold with approximately 2,000 head, and is being offered via an expressions of interest campaign which closes September 28.
Earlier this month Chinese property developer Shanghai Zhongfu acquired 476,000 hectare Carlton Hill Station in Western Australia's Ord River district from Australia's largest privately-owned beef producer, Consolidated Pastoral Company.
