FLOOD warnings are in place for eight rivers across the state after significant widespread rainfall last week.

A moderate to major flood warning is in place for the Macquarie River Valley downstream of Dubbo.
Moderate flooding is easing along the Macquarie River at Narromine, where the river peaked near 9.7 metres around midday Sunday.
Moderate flooding is occurring at Warren Town, where a major flood peak of about nine metres is expected Monday evening.
The Bogan River is also on alert with a moderate to major flood warning in place.
The flood peak in the Bogan River is approaching Dandaloo where a major flood peak is expected around midnight tonight.
Moderate flooding is also expected at Mudall and Nyngan later this week.
Predicted River heights/flows:
- Dandaloo: Peak near 6m late tonight with major flooding
- Mudall: Reach 3.5m around Thursday, September 8, with moderate flooding
- Nyngan: Reach 4m around Sunday, September 11, with moderate flooding
- Forecasts for Mulgawarrina and Gongolgon will be provided once upstream peaks are observed.
A moderate to major flood warning is in place for the Lachlan River as minor flooding continues at Cowra where the river peaked near 10.5 metres midnight Sunday.
Moderate flooding is occurring at Nanami where major flooding is expected today.
Minor flooding is current at Cottons Weir, Forbes Iron Bridge and Jemalong.
Moderate flooding is expected at Forbes Iron Bridge, Cottons Weir and Jemalong, progressively from Monday onwards.
Minor flooding continues at Booligal where a minor flood peak (resulting from the early August flood) is expected on Tuesday.
Predicted River Heights/Flows:
- Nanami: Peak near 11m Monday afternoon with major flooding
- Forbes Iron Bridge: Reach 10.3m Tuesday afternoon with moderate flooding
- Cottons Weir: Reach 6.5m Tuesday evening with moderate flooding
- Jemalong Weir: Reach 7.6m Tuesday afternoon with moderate flooding
- Booligal: Peak below 2.8m on Tuesday with minor flooding
- Forecast for Condobolin and downstream locations will be provided once the upstream flood peaks are observed.
Following weekend rainfall a minor flood warning is in place for the Namoi River at Wee Waa and downstream.
A flood wave is now downstream of Gunnedah where the river peaked below minor last night.
Predicted River Heights/Flows:
- Wee Waa: Peak near 6 metres with minor flooding on Wednesday, September 7
- Bugilbone: Peak near 5 metres with minor flooding Saturday, September 10
- Goangra: Peak near 5.5 metres with minor flooding Wednesday, September 14
- A minor flood warning is in place for the Murrumbidgee River, downstream of Gundagai.
The flood peak in the Murrumbidgee River valley is now downstream of Eringoarrah and is expected to reach Wagga Wagga tonight.
Predicted River Heights/Flows:
- Wagga Wagga: Peak near 7.4m Monday night with minor flooding
- Narrandera: Reach 7m on Friday, September 9 with minor flooding
- Darlington Point: Reach 6m on Sunday, September 12 with minor flooding
The Murray River at Corowa is also on a minor rural flood warning with predicted river heights/flows to reach below minor flood level at Albury and reach 5.3m at Corowa on Wednesday, with minor rural flooding.
The township of Corowa will not be affected by the main river flooding.
At this stage, river levels downstream of Corowa will remain below minor flood levels.
A minor flood warning is also in place for the Belubula River, with flooding continuing to ease along the Belubula River at Canowindra.
The river is expected to fall below the minor flood level later today.
A minor flood warning is in place for the Gwydir River at Yarraman Bridge which was expected to peak at near 4.8 metres at Yarraman Bridge at midnight Sunday.
