At his only race appearance, Outreach stretched Golden Slipper winner Vancouver to the post when second to the subsequent champion two-year-old in the ATC Canonbury Stakes-G3 at Rosehill. Outreach and Overreach were produced from triple-winning Sydney mare Bahia, a daughter of Snippets, a former leading stallion by Lunchtime, a GB-imported sire who found fame when standing at Widden in the 1970s and 1980s.
Outreach was bred and raced by George Altomonte’s Corumbene Stud and trained by Peter Snowden.
With a fee of $7700, Outreach has joined Sebring, Nicconi, Shamus Award, Star Witness, Stratum, Your Song and Zoustar at Widden Stud.
