The Harper family offered and sold 24 stud rams topping at $6000 twice for an average of $3292, 144 of the 158 flock rams offered sold for an average price of $1597, while four of the 21 stud ewes offered sold to $400 for an average of $363.
Both paying the top money were R.W. and S.J. Hall, Raywil Border Leicester, “Coolabah”, Swan Hill, Victoria, who purchased Cadell 612-15 for $6000 and Wattle Farm Border Leicester stud, Temora also paying $6000 for Cadell 301-15.
The sale was conducted by agents in conjunction Elders and Landmark of Wagga with Joe Wilks and Peter Cabot the auctioneers.
