The Picnics on Saturday, July 1, is a social calendar highlight for the entire region and there’s something for everyone, whether you’re into the horse racing, the fashions or just catching up with mates, this year promises to be one of the best yet.
President of the Duck Creek committee Rowen Cleaver has been quick to quash rumours there would be no races this year.
“It’s not true, of course it’s back for this year and we have so much exciting stuff happening this year,” he said.
The band is a highlight this year with former X-Factor winner Altiyan Childs playing from 5.30pm with his band after the races and well into the night.
He’ll be giving “Plucka Duck” a run for the most special guest on the day.
If the day time event is more your scene, you won’t be disappointed.
The Duck Creek Picnic Races Luncheon is on again including a delicious picnic hamper from Soulfood Narromine and champagne, wine and beer included with your track side table.
Grab nine friends and book a table online, it’s a steal for $70 each.
For the punter there is a six race program, and the fashionista is the highly coveted fashions on the field.
There are food stalls and a full bar facility for grumbling stomachs.
