A new era in livestock biosecurity management is indeed approaching. Essentially producers will be required to complete a farm biosecurity plan, in compliance with new Livestock Production Assurance regulations that come into effect on October 1.
These regulations include the management of Bovine Johne’s disease.
As the timeline below indicates, news of the reforms have been somewhat of a saga.
