It covers 480.6 hectares (1188ac), is 20 kilometres east of Armidale, and the land rises to about 1100 metres above sea level.
The variation in altitude and presence of natural gullies provides a great capacity to catch run-off.
It also has good access to water with a sizeable frontage to the reliable Toms Gully Creek .
The current owners, the Allbut family, bought the property in 2001.
It is the home of their stud sheep enterprise, New England Dohne stud, but they also run cattle.
The family has invested in the construction of many dams, with water reticulated to drinking troughs.
