The 93 hectare farm boasts irrigated Macquarie River flats which rise to gently sloping arable paddocks.
The farm belongs to Tom and Robyn Earl who, after eleven years of ownership, are packing up to move to Dubbo.
The Earls left their Sydney life in 1976 to farm dairy cows in the Central West. After a stint in the milking sheds the Earls turned their hand to sheep farming at “Glen Ara and Murga Ridge” – two adjoining properties at Guerie.
The beauty of this place is you can dial up or dial down the production to suit your lifestyle.

Selling agent Brian McAneney, Ray White Rural Dubbo, said “River Farm” was a “spectacular” property.
“Properties between Guerie and Dubbo are always highly sought after,” Mr McAneney said.
“Places with river frontage are held particularly tightly.”
He said “River Farm” was much more than a hobby farm.
“The beauty of this place is you can dial up or dial down the production to suit your lifestyle.”
The Earl’s operation at “River Farm” has focused on finishing cattle on irrigated cereals.
Currently they’re stocking just under 50 head.
With an average annual rainfall of 635 millimetres, soils at “River Farm” are a mix of rich river loams to red basalt loams.
The property will be sold with a 120 megalitre river licence.
The Ellis family owned “River Farm” for a long time before it was passed into the hands of Dubbo accountant David Rich and later, the Earls.
The six-bedroom, three-bedroom homestead at “River Farm” is a stand-out feature. The position of the house provides panoramic views of the Macquarie Valley.
Mr Earl said there will be much to miss about the property.
“It really is a magic place to live,” he said.
The Earls will now build a new home in Dubbo.
Working improvements at “River Farm” include a hay shed; machinery shed and workshop; a one stand woolshed; eight box stables and cattle yards with crush.
The property will go under Ray White Dubbo’s hammer on July 26.
