It is a good time to be in sheep and wool, according to Ross McGauchie, president Australian Sheepbreeders Association speaking at the conclusion of the 2017 show.
“Our figures show another record crowd over the three days and we had our ram sale on Sunday for the first time and it was very successful,” he said.
“The show highlights the value in connecting with people other than those who are sheep producers.”
