Longreach Limousins presented a quality line of Limousin bulls to light competition at their annual bull sale on Friday.
Twelve of the 26 bulls offered found homes under the hammer with purchasers coming from as far afield as Queensland with an average price of $4250 recorded.
Camden producer Jeff Demanuele of J & R Limousin took home what he and at least one other considered the pick in Longreach Leopold for the top money of $7250.

Selected for his low birthweight, adequate growth and balanced figures by Mr Demanuele who runs 250 Limousin based cows over multiple properties and markets progeny as vealers.
Mr Demanuele also took home the second top price bull Longreach Lucifer for $5250.
Sired by the french pure AI sire CF Jim Dandie out of a Donna Valley Poll Enterprises daughter Lucifer was also selected for his low birth weight and positive milk EBV’s.
Dorothy and Dallas Griggs, “Yang-Yalley”, Arulen, were strong supporters selecting three sires for a $4000 average to satisfy their vealer production requirements.
Joined to Hereford x Shorthorn and Black Baldy cows to producer 100 vealers annually which are sold through Moss Vale.
A number of bulls were sold directly after the sale to increase the clearance on what could be describe as a great day for buyers.
